Faithbridge Fall Fest

Major the monkey
18 months old
Hudson a.k.a Woody
3 years old
Hudson did this over 10 times.
I asked him to stop at the top for a picture. He stopped for about 1 second, so I missed a picture of his face and got his feet.

The boys and I went on a short visit to Spring. It was refreshing. I didn't get a ton of pictures but we had a ton of fun... seriously!

We thought he looked like a cat with those black whiskers.
We went to Spring on Wednesday night. Grammy and Gramps met us with some yummy hamburgers and cookies that were ready to decorate. It was so fun to see them and play for awhile. Thursday I got to attend my old bible study group. That was so refreshing. That night my bible study girls plus Shannon, met me a P.F. Chang's. It was POURING. I mean pouring! If the gathering wasn't for me, I might have stayed home. To my surprise the ladies pulled through and made it to dinner... even Shannon who lives on the other side of town. It was a treat to be with friends at PF Chang's, because I don't get PF Chang in Victoria... and these friends are the best. It became bitter sweet. I love the time with friends but I do have to go back to Victoria which I'm still adjusting to. Friday I joined friends in our traditional Halloween play date. It was fun to see even more friends and spend time with them. Then, I took the boys to the Fathbridge Fall Festival that night. I was a little worn out from the sequence of activities but I took the boys anyway. I'm glad I did. They loved it and did a great job playing and listening to me. Hudson, as Woody from Toy Story, jumped in a jump contraption until I decided to move on. Major ran around in his monkey costume and had a great time. We even ventured to the hot dog line and sat and ate. It was all great. We left from Faithbridge and drove back to Victoria.

Some Coppell Time Activities

Major has to have a fork now. He works so hard to get his food. When he does get the food, he says, "DAAA!" Like, look at me, I did it!

cupcakes in a fancy box with way too much icing --- perfection
Oh, did I mention RayRay and Hud made chocolate covered bananas. We forgot to put the sticks in before we froze them so we shoved toothpicks in after they were frozen. It made a messy snack messier. I personally have no complaints as I have been a fan of chocolate covered bananas from a very young age.

and... we're done!

The zoo was so fun! The boys loved it. I loved it. RayRay loved it. All around good time by all. I was very impressed by the tigers home at the zoo. I literally felt sad for the tigers at the Victoria zoo. They're home at the Victoria zoo is lame compared to the Ft. Worth paradise. I'm glad they don't know about the Ft. Worth Zoo. Very cool place!

one and a half

Major is one and a half! You have been putting your little hands over your cheeks, and then you say "boo!" Now you take my hands, put them over my face and wait for me to say boo. We also play this game where I look all around (but not at you) and say "doot da doot da do." Then, I look right in your eyes and gasp. You die laughing. You fold your hands and pray with us at meals and usually say "amen!" Funny things you do right now are laying flat on the ground, on your tummy. Sometimes you are trying to lick water off the ground. Yuck! But it's actually pretty funny. You love to chase me around the house when I hide around corners. You now join in on the wrestling between, dad and Hudson. Dad usually tosses you on your back, on top of the bed. You love Murphy and I have taught you to say "pat, pat, pat" so that you are gentle to him. You really want to pull his tail and sometimes you do, but for the most part, you are sweet to him. During nap time, if you wake up first, I have to watch you. You love to bust into Hudson's room and wake him up. When you do hear Hudson wake up, you get so excited and run in his room to play. You love to eat some of my cereal in the morning. Dad says you are so much fun to hold. He thinks that when he picks you up, you can just feel how happy you get. Your smile makes life better! Love you major bear!
