Kept forgetting I had this gingerbread house because I hid it. The weather was so cold for so long, I finally got it out and we gave it a try. Not my fav activity. They mostly just wanted to eat all the candy. Not interested in decorating at all!

Major forgot his tennis racket and other necessities to hang with the preps.

Hudson, one of my Valentine's, got Flicker the flashlight, a VW van that was an obvious necessity, and a marshmallow heart.

Major's loot was similar but he got a Handy Manny cell phone that seemed to be a hit.

I loved getting all dressed up. It had been awhile. I also love the mixture of being dressed up and having our little rug rats in their PJs right there, in the middle of it all. Wouldn't have it any other way.

Shout out to RayRay and Champ for some serious NYE baby-sitting!

Grandma Jones went home to her Savior on Februray 16th, 2010. I'm so glad we got to gather for some Jones family bonding not too long ago. What a blessing to have these memories!

Livesay Christmas

Christmas Eve and Christmas Day in Columbus, Texas

The Reed Livesay group provided the home and the ENTIRE Livesay extended family provided a Christmas Eve service at FBC Columbus. Okay, Howard and I didn't participate, Major and Benjamin spent some time in the nursery, Hudson squirmed in my lap, but for the most part, Livesay's covered the stage.

At one point, Bob gestured with his hand, the bible was in his hand, and then Cooper made a move. The move really looked something like a bat hitting a ball. The only problem was that the bat was Cooper's hand and the ball was Bob's bible. Needless to say, the bible flew out of Bob's hand and Cooper flew off the stage. Loving the Livesay boys all together.

Merry Christmas 2009!

It was all a fun crazy mess! I got a couple of special surprises that were very unexpected. Stephen got me amazing earrings and a bracelet that I love. I wear them all the time. He's so precious. The other surprise was for Laura, Julie and me. Bob and Ann are sending us on a European vacation. Ann is coming too! We are headed all over Europe for 11 days, at the end of April! I'm so pumped! I've never been, and considering the little kids running around all over the place, I didn't think I would go for awhile. It is perfect timing for all of us to get a break. Can't wait to hear how the guys do back home with all the kids!

Well, Hello There :)

To whom it may concern (probably no one but me),

So, I have issues with confrontation and I feel like my blog has really wanted to tell me how neglected she feels. I've been hiding from her but at this point I can't hide any longer. It's time to take on the blog. In an effort to be passive aggressive, with the blog, I have also not been taking pictures therefore I don't have much to blog about. It's a reason and an excuse to keep my charade going. I hope to get back on the wagon but I just can't promise myself anything yet. I have a fear of failure. I also like to write out my feelings hoping not to be judged but embraced for the mess that I am.

Coppell Santa

This Santa is outside a house in Coppell every night from 6:30-8:30. Usually there is a Mrs. Claus but this year there wasn't. We think she might have found an elf to run off with.

We did have a great time with RayRay and Champ, and the Hoerman's! I guess I stopped taking pictures with all the Christmas hoop-la going on. It was a sweet time though and I'm glad we got to do it!
